Vietnam - Day 2 Saigon (Ho Chi Min City)

A great day in Saigon today.

First we headed to the outer suburbs to Nguyen Thiet Thuat which translates as Guitar Street.  Where you can imagine Jordan was in his element.  He wanted everything.

We ended up getting a mandolin for Jordan. Metallica's "Enter Sandman" doesn't sound quite the same on the mandolin.  He should have it mastered by the time we get home.

Then we went to the bustling Ben Thanh markets. Big and busy and full of colour and noise. No bargains here!

We hit the pool to cool off where our children didn't disappoint.  This is Jordan trying to drown Tia.  They love each other - really.

Topped the night off having a fantastic dinner at the Tib restaurant. Recommended by a guy called Quincy McLean that we got chatting to in Kuala Lumpur. Turns out he was the lead singer for that mega Australian band "Blue Ruin" in the 80's. Never heard of them? They had a hit "Bad Gin". Still never heard of them? Neither have we. Nice guy though.
